My minimum fee is £130

My hourly rate is £330

Typically the fee to notarise a single document will be £140, representing the time taken to discuss the instruction with you, check identity and appointment, sign and seal the document and record it in my register.

There may be disbursements such as the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office fee of £40 to put an Apostille on the document if needed ("legalisation"), fees charged by foreign Embassies and courier fees if required.  I will also charge my time incurred in arranging this process for you.

I will discuss total fees with you ahead of our appointment so that you will always know what you need to pay, when and why, and there are no surprises.

VAT is charged at the prevailing rate, currently 20%.

My fee is payable when we meet unless other arrangements have been agreed between us beforehand.

For clients who instruct me regularly I can agree beneficial charging rates and payment arrangements, reflecting the volume of instructions received.

Figures correct as at August 2024.
